HANDLING:

• Thaw in the refrigerator in an airtight container. Once thawed, a refrigerated portion can be stored for up to 3 days. Do not leave thawed medallions at room temperature for more than 15 minutes.
• Wash your hands after handling, then clean any surfaces, utensils, and bowls that have come into contact with the raw food.

Transitioning to Raw Food:

• Skip 1 or 2 meals to allow your dog's digestive system to cleanse itself of its previous diet. Skip this step for puppies.
• Add 1/2 cup of warm water to each meal for the first week to ease the transition.
  Once your pet has transitioned to the new diet, stop adding water and serve the medallions raw.
